Books for the Heart Wrap-Up

Thought you all might like to know how A Reader's Respite did on the Books for the Heart project, brought to you by 1 More Chapter.

Books we blew through from February 1-14th:

The Memorist, by M.J. Rose

Guernica: A Novel, by Dave Boling

The Vanishing Act of Esme Lennox, by Maggie O'Farrell

Winter in Madrid, by C.J. Sansom

Silent in the Sanctuary, by Deanna Raybourn

So at $10 a book, that's a check for $50 that's going out to the American Heart Association. Our cold, black heart is melting already.

Happy reading!

  3. This is... wow. I wish I could have heard of this Books for the Heart project beforehand (though the floating hearts are a bit... much). I'll round up the books I read in that time anyways, though. A major hat tip.

  4. I think 1 More Chapter is going to make this one an annual Valentine's event, which would be very nice!
