The Greatest Knight Winners

When A Reader's Respite's on-again, off-again blog secretary isn't getting ready to escort us to the BBAW Awards Ceremony - and when we can get his nose out of his worn copy of The Hobbit - we can sometimes convince him to randomly draw some winners.

Sandy (You've GOTTA Read This!) and Hawkeye Girl (hawkeyegirl.com), you've both won a copy of Elizabeth Chadwick's The Greatest Knight!

Zap us your mailing addresses, please, so A Reader's Respite can pass them along to the publicist and soon you'll be immersed in some first-rate historical fiction.

  1. OMG! I win that book with the dudeish dude in the cover AND get a glimpse of your secretary? My day can only go downhill from here! I will send my address forthwith!

  2. Congrats to the winners! And now that your secretary has done his duties, he can stop on by my house and rest for a while. Picking those random numbers is exhausting.

  4. You said you were going to fire your secretary! And I offered to take him! And now you are retaining him! This just isn't right! Please remit secretary to my address as soon as possible. You can drop him off at my house (from the sky) if necessary.

  6. Okay, you guys are just cracking me up this morning. The blog secretary came slinking back home when he learned about the BBAW awards....he can't resist a good ceremony. He'll leave me again when we don't win anything cause he's shallow that way. You all can HAVE him then, LOL.

  7. Dear participant of the genre challenge,

I am happy to announce that the genre challenge blog is finally up and running! Due to some real life problems, this has taken longer than planned, but now that it’s finished, I invite you over to post your reviews there. It’s at http://genrechallenge.blogspot.com/

The process is really simple, just post the link to your review in the comments of the appropriate post. An example: if you reviewed a fantasy book for the genre challenge, post the review in the comments of the Fantasy Fiction Reviews 2008-2009 post.

Because of the transfer from my general book blog to the genre challenge blog, some review links might have become lost, so please check to see if all of your reviews have been linked. If not, please repost the links I missed. According to my information, you haven’t posted any links yet. Also, I have not yet had a confirmation on which option you chose (A, B or C) Just to remind you, to be eligible for the prize drawing, all of your reviews must be posted before 1 November 2009 and I need to know which option you have chosen.

    Thanks for joining this challenge!

    Happy reading,

    Samantha
