P.S. Many thanks to Melissa at Shhh I'm Reading who brought this book to Sandy's (of You've GOTTA Read This! fame) attention, who forwarded it to A Reader's Respite. Whew. It's like a techie version of the telephone game.
Well, I could write that book because I'm one of those weirdos who forgets to even turn on her cell phone and refuses to answer if it rings while I'm driving (but it never does -- it only rings when I've accidentally left it on and walked into the library because the local librarians LIVE to say "Excuse me, ma'am, you'll have to turn off your phone.") but instead I'd like to read it. Except Bybee didn't like it, so forget that.
Oh but he should have left the word "modern" out of the title (but then it would have been a WAY longer book!)
ReplyDeleteI am constantly amazed that people pay to have these things published. I mean, we all should be able to get book deals, right?
ReplyDeleteOMG! I want that book so bad, but I would never pay for it. LOL! I can't wait to find out what your favorite sh!t thing is. :)
ReplyDeleteToo funny. I love the electronic tag that got prompted this post.
ReplyDeleteI have this book, I'm sad to say. It's out on loan to Pablo. I didn't really care for it.
ReplyDeleteIs that some kind of yoga pad he's sitting on? Then it's really modern if he's a technology geek and a yoga enthusiast. :D
ReplyDeleteIs there a gas leak? I must be intoxicated. LMAO!
ReplyDeleteI just used the word "shit" in a piece of creative writing and the client said "no no". The title of the book now gave me a smile.
ReplyDeleteSteamy Darcy
LMAO where do you find this shit!

ReplyDeleteYou know what, I ask myself that question at least once a day, lol! That's the optimist I am!
ReplyDeleteI'm with Sandy - why aren't we all writing books! OK, I'll leave that up to the truly talented authors, and those that pay to print this sh!t!
ReplyDeleteWill admit I'm curious as to what else is on the list, and where I'd fall on his scale of sh!tkickers!
