OMG! You have no idea how super happy this makes me. Not only do I love the Bunny Suicides book in a similar vein, but my brother's birthday is this weekend. He not only LOVES penguins, but this will fit right in with his twisted sense of humor as well. Thanks for sharing this and rescuing me from not having a kicka** gift to give him.
There is nothing cuter than an evil penguin. My kids belong to a website called Club Penguin, and you may be able to find some evil penguins there too.
I saw a book on the Powell's newsletter today that made me think of you (well, not you, more like the diversifying your bookshelf posts). Except I have to go find it...talk amongst yourselves...
Okay. It's Breather's: A Zombie's Lament. Evidently, it's a zombie love story.

ReplyDeleteHaha - I was going to mention the bunny suicide books too....they are hysterical!!!
ReplyDeleteMy hubby loves penguins, maybe this will be a book he'll actually read?!
I always wondered what happens when penguins go bad. Nice to know there's a book I can turn to.
ReplyDeleteThose pesky penguins! They always give me the evil eye when I pass by their tank at the zoo.

I've always heard that they were badasses!
ReplyDeleteThat one has a chain saw! Okay, maybe I need to see INSIDE this book...
ReplyDeleteA much needed reference for my work. You don't know how often evil penguins are mentioned in manuscripts.
ReplyDeleteAh, but the important question is "Is this a picture book or a novel?". A gem either way, but the public does need to be made aware.
ReplyDeleteLOL...so cute! Penguins are cool too!
ReplyDeleteGolly, I bet Kaye at Pudgy Penguin Perusals would be interested in that book. She seems to have an odd attachment to penguins.
ReplyDeleteI always knew penguins were evil...
ReplyDeleteThanks for the laugh!
