Technological Asshattery

I know, I know.....real mature, huh?

But I feel better having said it.

LMAO - what dey do to ya?

Amy @ Passages to the Past said...

I've said that numerous times, although with a bit more cursing and fist waving!

Oh my goodness...my stuff has just been messing up on me today so thanks for helping me vent too!

First of all, I love the term Asshattery. I have added it to my mental vocabulary database. But now I am wondering what Blogger did to you?

Ms. Lucy said...

I'm so proud of you for saying it for us all! I swear Blogger is out to get us!

softdrink said...

I'll second that. Yesterday I composed a post in my head about its lack of ability when it comes to spacing. I mean really...enter=hard return. How hard is that?!?

Sandy Nawrot said...

I thought it was just me...I simply cannot do a nice post with pictures. If I add pictures in the middle of the post, it turns into a massive train wreck. If I mess with a post long enough, my letters start out normal sized, then gradually get smaller. So I am not the only in this boat I guess?

LMAO too, Giving blogger the ASS is something we have all wanted to do at one time or another. Sometimes many times a day; for something that is a cool technological advancement it can be a big pain in the BUTT

I love Blogger! It is the best thing in the whole world!!

(if it knows I said otherwise, it would mess up all my posts...I just know it....shhhhh)

MssJos said...

Should I be concerned that blogger closed my dashboard window thingy while I was reading this post??? Ahhh!!!

Michele at Reader's Respite said...

Sorry....LOL....I should have specified what Blogger was doing. Mostly the spacing thing...preview doesn't show up accurately, etc. Seems like when you're in a hurry to get a post up, Blogger just starts messing with ya.

Doesn't need a tech, needs an exorcist if you ask me.

:)

Yes blogger is a real pain sometimes!

violetcrush said...

Spacing could be quite irritating actually. Glad you got it out of your system :)

Haaaaaaaa. (NB: don't drink coffee until after you've looked at the post, she says while recovering from choking)

Michelle said...

Oh I've thought it a million times. Hope you feel better having gotten that off your chest.

I figured it was the disappearing followers issue that was driving you nuts. I've been hearing about that from several Blogger users this week.

Molly said...

It is exactly because of this wonderful sense of humor that I gave your blog a shout out today - and an award :)

The Tome Traveller said...

Oh, yes. The spacing thing drives me nuts. And then, when I preview and post...the post looks nothing like the preview. What the h -e - double toothpicks is up with that?

Wow, glad to know it isn't just me and my lack of technology knowledge. Yesterday it was doing something really weird, the box for the word verification kept saying loading..... and wouldn't do anything. I had wanted to leave comments on a few Teaser Tuesdays but a lot of sites wouldn't post. A blogger sent me an e mail today to tell me she couldn't leave a comment on one of my posts. Poltergeists? Evil blog troll? Head nerd of blogger just messing with us? your guess is as good as mine!

Michele at Reader's Respite said...

The posts look nothing like the preview and then the preview looks nothing like the actual post.

And yes, the word verification on some blogs has gone blimzo so I can't comment and my feed reader is on crack telling me I have 36000 unread posts. Maybe I do.

Would you sue me if I printed this out and framed it? It's too perfect. I get so friggin frustrated at blogger sometimes. Okay, most times.

Anyway, I gave you an award on my blog. Take a look. :o)

Sorry to hear blogger's being so difficult! I just wanted to stop by and invite you over to Literary Menagerie. A friend of mine just gave her first stab at a book review, so if you could charm her into sticking around, I'd owe you a huge favor!

Happy reading!
