Well...I am eating breakfast as I stroll through the blogs in my Google Reader, and I just added this to my wish list!
Where do you find these things? And glad I hadn't started breakfast yet either.Pssst, come over to my side of the pond. The volcano of honey quote has made it to LJ's weepingcock. lol.
My stomach is grumbling, so your timing is perfect!
Where do you get tickets to that place? . . . I may have some birthday presents to give out.
Sounds like a Captain Cook sort of tale (and what an appropriate name he had under the circumstances, wouldn't you say?)
It has a catchy little title, doesn't it?
What a warm welcome!
Note to self: don't go to New Zealand.
I remember seing this book somewhere and wanting to read it :)Looks really good.
To Serve Man...
Christina Thompson actually lives in the town next to us, and I've met her and talked with her about her book. She is an American married to a Maori man from New Zealand, and attmepts in the book to find paralells in the contemporary relationship to the history of explorer's/conquerer's interaction with the native Maori people.I have to say I liked the historical part better than the personal story.Yes, it's an attention-getting title!
Okay; so much for my island vacations :)
Interesting cover, dear!
You never fail to put a smile on my lips :Dwhere do u get these :) :)
I love some of the titles you find.
Lol. Well with a title like that you can't help but follow the link to see what it's about!
Well that was certainly enlightening! lol
