And so it snows....

I'm thinking my rosemary is done for the year.

To make this book-related: My lamppost is a little Lion-Witch-Wardrobe-ish, don't you think?

  1. That is a ton of snow!!! It looks so pretty with the lampost in the background. Very Victorian-ish.

  3. Holey Moley!!! I can't believe you guys got that much snow! Yes, LW&W!! Are you Lucy? Love your cute sign too.

  4. Can you believe it? Seattle hasn't seen this kind of snow in decades. Rain, we get it. Snow, not so much.

Beth - I'm not sweet enough to be Lucy. Maybe Susan...especially in later books. ha.

  5. If you take out the "r" and the "w", it says, "Go Please", which could easily be snow related. :-)

  7. I heard this was your worst storm in 30 years! We are having the same on this coast, 18 inches of snow today, on top of 8 on friday. Ok, that's enough winter, thanks.

  8. Lezlie - good point!

Callista - I've been down there searching for Narnia, but no luck thus far.

Carey - I can't imagine snow piling up like that. Even in Alaska we didn't get pile ups like that -- it all blew to Canada.

  10. Oh, I'm so jealous of your snow! It's finally winter here (woke up to 18 degree cold this morning), but it won't last...damn Richmond warmth. I'd give anything for some snow.

  11. very cold here in Joisey, but no snow down here along the coast.

and don't give up on the rosemary. I have had mine totally covered in snow for weeks and when melted, it was fine.

  14. Freeze-dried herbs?

We got about 2 feet of snow over the weekend. Yesterday, instead of books, the mailman left me a diagram showing how far the snow has to be cleared around the mailbox!
