- I don't have a library card. I can't do it. Nothing against the library, which was my best childhood friend, but now that I am an income-producing adult, I simply MUST own the books. They must reside on my shelves. I love them. They're mine.
- I am a 37 year old adult and I read every one of the Twilight series. 'Nuff said about that.
- I hate Nicolas Sparks' novels. Too sappy even for me.
- I just mentioned this on Book Blogs, but it bears repeating: the only novel that has ever made me cry is Larry McMurtry's Lonesome Dove.
- I actually read a ton of non-fiction that I don't review on this blog. All of it history.
- I read two bedtime stories to my toddler every single night that I'm at home. On the nights I'm not at home, I am required to recite I Know an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Fly by memory over the telephone.
- I cannot go into a book store without buying at least one book, even if I never get around to reading it.
- Amy at Passages to the Past (because I know she has soooo little to do these days, ha ha).
- Amanda at The Luscious Literary Muse.
- Melanie at The Indextrious Reader (I just love reading her blog name).
- Carey at The Tome Traveller's Weblog.
- Petunia at Educating Petunia.
- Leah at The Octogon.
- Heather at The Reader's Word.

You should review the non-fiction, too.
ReplyDeleteI agree. We like to hear about non-fiction, too!
ReplyDeleteI've had to train myself to use the library. It was a matter of space at home. :-) I still buy way more than I read though.

I may get around to the non-fiction, especially since it's history stuff. I'd like to get some more male-oriented books up (not that women don't read non-fiction, but you know what I mean).
ReplyDeleteLezlie -- I think I will always buy more than I read. It gives me something to look forward to, for some reason.
I have read every Twilight series book except the last one. And I can't wait to read it.
ReplyDeleteI love Nicholas Sparks.
I cannot leave a bookstore without buying at least one book either.
You must post about the non-fiction you read. At least give us 4-5 lines. May be you can do a collective post every month. We would love to read about it.
ReplyDeleteoops, the last comment was from me again. It is my friends login. I sometimes forget to change it from google/Blogger to OpenId. And it's stuck there. I am not able to log out form it so that even accidentally it does not show up. But alas...
ReplyDeleteThanks for tagging me, I enjoyed doing this one and reading other peoples answers. My results are posted on my blog.
ReplyDeleteMichele - I love it! We have a set number of bedtime stories every night too. I've never read Lonesome Dove but I'm impressed about that one - I read a handful of books a year that make me cry.

Literarily
LOL - I've got a library card, but I don't think I've ever used it!
ReplyDeleteI'd love to read some reviews of non-fiction books!! I've done a few on my site, and I think some are quite good.
