Like you I am a sucker for this kind of true life adventure. And yes, i tend to experience them best from the safety of my own home. Of course, I'm an Alaskan so I might be biased. ;) If I even look at Denali my heart quickens and not in a good way. And I was born and raised around that damned mountain. And I don't just avoid small inclines. If I tried to climb one, I'd probably have a heart attack. lolMichelle Stockard Millerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03572227726980569386noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5078315941472495277.post-61971891217485248112014-06-25T10:55:28.488-07:002014-06-25T10:55:28.488-07:00Well there is that 24 hour prohibition between scu...Well there is that 24 hour prohibition between scuba diving and rising to the altitudes of Everest "base" camp. The bends, don't you know. I hear that is painful. I vote the base of Mt. Everest is the Indian Ocean. I have no idea why I'm drawn to these stories, unless maybe in the back of my head I can use something here to learn from so if I get stranded on a remote island/stuck on a mountain top/left floating on a small boat in the Atlantic, I might have a chance of surviving. Ha! Often times these true stories are way better than anything that could be imagined.Sandy Nawrothttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00564390728106776030noreply@blogger.com
